Our Oracle workflow mailer uses IMAP to connect to exchange. It was working fine on our exchange 2010 server but we have since migrated to 2013.  I have matched the IMAP settings from the 2010 server and am able to telnet to 143.  The Oracle WF Mailer runs for awhile then dies with the error "unable to connect to mail store".  On the exchange server in the IMAP logs I occasionally see: login,cxprdwf *****,"R=""A1 NO LOGIN failed."";Msg=Proxy:***EMAILSERVERNAME**:9933:SSL;ErrMsg=ProxyTimeout:PreAuthTimeout".

The Oracle wf mailer runs on Oracle Applications R12. Exchange is 2013 Build 995.29 (I think that's CU6?)

We are using plaintext authentication and yes imap is working for other imap clients.  The Oracle WF mailer works but at least once a day it dies with that error whereas it worked 100% of the time on the 2010 server.

We to are having the same issue. Other IMAP software is working fine with Exchange 2013 but not Oracle WF Mailer. Difference for us is that we are using SSL to connect to IMAP. WF Mailer crashes either every day or every 2nd day. Did you resolve your issue with it?
